【新宿の日】国立競技場でのクリアソン新宿応援
クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスは、サッカークラブ『クリアソン新宿』と包括連携協定を結んでいます。6月15日（日）に、生徒たちは国立競技場で、いわてグルージャ盛岡との一戦「新宿の日」マッチを応援しました。今回はAdam先生が、当日の様子をご紹介します。
A soccer / football game to bring us together
Sunday June 15th everyone from the Tokyo Campus gathered together to cheer on and watch our Shinjuku Criacao team battle Morioka. In the morning a cloud covered sky sprinkled light drops of rain to keep the air cool.
Cheer that inspires our team
As the players entered the pitch and engaged in a friendly but intense soccer / football match the sun came out and things began to heat up. It was a close, and exciting game with lots of action. Accompanied by a marching band, our students enthusiastically chanted lyrics of inspiration for our team.
選手たちがピッチに入り、和気あいあいと、しかし激しいサッカー／フットボールの試合を繰り広げると、太陽が顔を出して気温が上がり始めました。 マーチングバンドの伴奏のもと、生徒たちはチームを鼓舞する歌詞を熱唱しました。
Share excitement and precious time in the Olympic Stadium
The air was full of excitement with waving flags, clapping hands, and lots of shouting. For some this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to sit in the colossal Olympic stadium, and watch a live sporting event. The end result was Morioka won with a final score of 1 – 0. Despite this, everyone had a wonderful soccer / football experience.
旗を振り、手を叩き、大声で叫び、会場は興奮に包まれました。オリンピックの巨大なスタジアムで、生のスポーツイベントを観戦できる一生に一度の機会だったという生徒もいたでしょう。結果は、1対0で盛岡の勝利でしたが、誰もが素晴らしい応援体験をしました。
