　ギターを弾けるようになることは、新しい言葉を話せるようになることと似ています。最初はコードが難しく感じます。指が痛くなります。思うように言葉が出てきません。間違えます。それでいいんです。それが学ぶということです。

　英語の歌を歌うとき、意識しなくても自然に発音を練習しています。言葉のリズムを感じ取ります。メロディーがフレーズを記憶に刻みます。音楽は、言葉を生き生きとさせてくれるのです。

　完璧に弾ける人はいません。新しい言葉をつかえずにいる人もいません。でも、間違いのひとつひとつが、私たちを成長させてくれます。たった一つの間違った音が、正しい音へと近づく一歩になります。そして、この旅は決して一人ではありません。先生はいつでもそばで導いてくれます。友達はいつでも応援してくれます。
