【国際コース】　The Power of Group Work

　生徒一人ひとりは個性を持っており、グループワークの中でその個性が輝きます。グループの中で自分の居場所を見つけるまでに、試行錯誤することも少なくありません。しかしそれは決して悪いことではありません。チームの中で協力し、自分の役割を理解し、自分自身の価値を認識する力は、教室の中だけにとどまらないスキルです。それはまさに、生徒たちが社会に出たときに直面するステップそのものです。

　どのグループにも、様々なタイプの生徒がいます。積極的に周りをサポートする生徒、注意深く話を聞き、観察し、丁寧にメモを取る生徒、そして自然と人々をまとめ、場の雰囲気を明るく保つことができる生徒。それぞれの役割に意味があり、すべての生徒がグループに大切な何かをもたらしています。

　授業の種類やレッスンの内容に関わらず、グループワークは学びの重要な一部として積極的に取り入れられています。そしてこれからも、私たちの教室において欠かせない役割を担い続けるでしょう。

Every student is different, and in group work, those differences shine. Students often stumble through the process of finding their place within a group — and that is entirely a good thing. Learning to navigate a team, understand your role, and recognize your own worth are skills that go far beyond the classroom. They are the very same steps students will face when they enter society.

In any group, you will find a wonderful mix of people. There are the helpful students who jump in and support others, the observant ones who listen carefully, watch closely, and take thoughtful notes, and those with a natural ability to bring people together and keep the atmosphere positive. Each of these roles matters, and each student brings something valuable to the table.

No matter the class and no matter the lesson, group work is embraced as an essential part of learning — and it will continue to play a crucial role in our classroom for years to come.
