【国際コース】「Communication」授業　～Memory Champions in Action　メモリーチャンピオンへの挑戦～

　「 Communication」授業のLevel 1クラスでは、メガ・メモリーゲームに挑戦をしていました。
　生徒たちは、ある場所についてのヒントが書かれたカードを探し出し、それをもう一組のカードの中にある正しい場所のカードとマッチさせなければなりません。読解力と記憶力の両方が試される活動です。このような活動は「Communication」の授業でよく行われますが、それは教室にいるあらゆるレベルの生徒に自然に対応できるからです。得意な生徒はより速く読み、より多く覚えることに挑戦できますし、そうでない生徒も自分のペースで取り組み、自分自身の目標を設定しながら、確かな達成感を持って授業を終えることができます。

The Level 1 Communication Skills class went all in on a mega memory game today. Students had to hunt down clue cards describing a place, then match them with the correct place cards hidden among a second set — testing both their reading and their recall. Activities like this are a favourite in Communication Skills classes because they naturally stretch to fit every level in the room: stronger students can push themselves to read faster and remember more, while others can take it at their own pace, set their own goals, and still walk away with a real sense of progress.
