【国際コース】　「Production」授業　～家事分担の大切さを小学生に伝える～

　国際コースの「Production」授業では生徒たちが、丹念なリサーチと地域社会への働きかけを重ね、ついに行動計画を実行に移しました。今回の取り組みは、小学生に家事を分担することの大切さを伝えるためのものです。このプロジェクトが目指すのは、日本の母親たちが担ってきた伝統的な家事の負担を軽くすることだけではありません。次の世代の子どもたちに性別による役割について考えてもらい、家族がより良く支え合う方法を一緒に探ってもらうことも、大切な目的の一つです。イベントは無事終了しましたが、プロジェクトはこれからも続きます。生徒たちの今後の活動にもぜひご注目ください。

After weeks of research and community outreach, students in the International Course’s Production class have successfully launched their action plan: a program designed to help elementary school children understand why sharing household responsibilities matters. The project’s aim goes beyond easing the traditional domestic burden carried by many Japanese mothers — it invites a younger generation to think critically about gender roles and imagine new ways families can support one another. With the first event now behind them, the students’ work continues, and we look forward to following their progress in the months ahead.
