【国際コース】　生徒の英語力とぴったりの授業

　国際コースでは、全ての授業が3つのレベルに分かれています。これにより、生徒たちは自分の英語力に合った授業を受けることができ、早く上達することができます。

　国際コースの1年生にとって、自分の英語力を公平かつ正確に測ることは非常に重要です。そこで、国際コースでは独自のレベルチェック・システムを開発しました。先日、新入生全員がレベルチェックを受けました。通常、レベルチェックは生徒にとってプレッシャーが大きく、不安なものです。しかし、クラークのレベルチェックは、正解を求めるプレッシャーや、英語力による評価を気にすることなく、自分の英語力を発揮できるように設計されています。

　英語力をチェックした後は、みんな前向きなムード。ネイティブの先生たちと、これから始まる9種類の授業について、大いに話し合っていました。

In the International Course, all of our classes are divided into 3 different levels. This allows students to take classes which match their own English abilities and allows them to improve as quickly as possible.
For first year students in the course, it is crucial that they can have a fair and accurate measure of their English abilities. That is why the International Course developed its own level-check system. The other day, all of the new International Students had their level check. Usually this can be a high pressure and uncomfortable situation for students. But the level-check at Clark is designed to allow students to use their English skills without the pressure of trying to get answers correct and worrying about being judged based on their English ability.
Even after an hour of having their English abilities checked, everyone was in a positive mood and students and native teachers had a great discussion about the 9 different types of International Course English classes the students will be able to take over the school year.
