【国際コース】　「Production授業」　～Come Join Us — Production Class Opens Its Doors to New Students～

　今週、国際コースの「Production」授業では心躍る恒例行事が行われました。2年生と3年生が大使としての役割を担い、新しく入学した1年生に声をかけ、より大きな世界への参加を呼びかけたのです。

　リクルートイベントは熱気に包まれていました。先輩たちは自分たちのプロジェクトグループが取り組むテーマを紹介し、新入生に、これから待ち受けるクリエイティブで協力的な世界への窓を開いてくれました。しかし印象に残ったのは、プロジェクトの内容だけではありませんでした。それぞれの先輩が自分らしさを持って場に臨み、どのグループにも独自の個性と雰囲気があること、そしてまだ書き続けられているそれぞれのストーリーがあることを、新入生たちに伝えてくれました。

　グループへの招待は、単に人数を集めるためのものではありません。上級生にとって新しいメンバーを迎えることは、新鮮な視点や新たな意欲、そしてチームが成長することで生まれる力を得ることを意味します。1年生にとっては、実践を通じて学ぶ機会であり、かつて同じ道を歩んだ先輩たちに導いてもらえる貴重な経験です。

　これがプロダクションクラスの核心です。毎年繰り返されるサイクルの中で、生徒たちは少しずつ成長していきます。今日の新入生は明日の貢献者となり、やがて未来のメンターへと変わっていくのです。世代から世代へと受け継がれるのは、スキルや知識だけではありません。コース全体をより豊かにする、協働の精神そのものです。

　扉は開かれています。グループは待っています。そして、その入り口に立つ新入生たちにとって、旅はまだ始まったばかりです。

One of the most exciting traditions of the International Course’s Production Class took place this week, as second and third-year students stepped into the role of ambassadors — reaching out to incoming first-year students and inviting them to become part of something bigger.

The recruitment event was alive with energy. Seniors shared the themes driving their project groups, giving new students a window into the creative and collaborative world that awaits them. But it was not just the projects that left an impression — it was the people behind them. The upperclassmen brought their personalities with them, and in doing so, showed the new students that every group has its own identity, its own rhythm, and its own story still being written.

The invitation to join is about more than filling seats. For the senior students, welcoming new members means fresh perspectives, renewed motivation, and the strength that comes from a team that grows. For the first-year students, it is an opportunity to learn by doing — to be guided by those who have walked the same path not so long ago.

This is the heart of Production Class: a yearly cycle that transforms students over time. The newcomer of today becomes the contributor of tomorrow, and eventually, the mentor of the future. Each generation passes something forward — not just skills and knowledge, but the spirit of collaboration that makes the whole course stronger.

The doors are open. The groups are waiting. And for the new students standing at the threshold, the journey is just beginning.
