　生徒が持つ最も活かされていないリソースのひとつ、それは教室の前に立つ人物かもしれません。
　大学への出願準備をしているとき、ボランティアプロジェクトの提案書をまとめているとき、あるいは地域の誰かへのメールやお手紙にどんな言葉を選べばいいか迷っているとき――先生たちはすでにその経験をしています。手紙を書き、願書と向き合い、何が伝わって何がそうでないかを、実際に経験しながら学んできたのです。その知識は、授業が終わっても消えることはありません。必要なときに、いつでもあなたのそばにあります。
　アドバイスを求めることは、弱さの表れではありません。それは、生徒ができる最も賢い行動のひとつです。あなたの文章にもう一つの目を向けてもらうこと、誰かへのアプローチについて一言アドバイスをもらうこと、あるいは「その方向で大丈夫」と背中を押してもらうこと――そういった小さなサポートの積み重ねが、大きな違いを生み出すことがあります。
　英語でも日本語でも、どちらでも構いません。大切なのは、声をかけてみることです。ここは、疑問を持つことが歓迎され、努力が認められ、ひとりで抱え込まなくていい場所です。
先生たちがこの道を選んだのは、あなたの歩みを支えたいからです。だから、ぜひ声をかけてください。扉は、いつでも開いています。

One of the most underused resources a student has is the person standing right at the front of the classroom.
Whether you are preparing a university application, putting together a volunteer project proposal, or simply trying to find the right words for an email to someone in the community — your teachers have been there. They have written the letters, navigated the applications, and learned through experience what works and what doesn’t. That knowledge doesn’t disappear when the lesson ends. It is there for you, whenever you need it.
Asking for advice is not a sign of weakness. It is one of the smartest moves a student can make. A second pair of eyes on your writing, a word of guidance on how to approach someone, or simply a reassuring voice telling you that you are on the right track — these small moments of support can make an enormous difference.
And it doesn’t matter whether you reach out in English or Japanese. What matters is that you reach out. This is a space where questions are welcome, effort is recognized, and no one has to figure things out alone.
Your teachers chose this path because they want to help you walk yours. So come and ask. The door is always open.
