【ボランティア】　フードドライブでクリスマスの心を

　11月中旬、アマゾンジャパンの公式ボランティア団体であるSPS Givesが、クラーク札幌の生徒たちに毎年恒例のクリスマス・フードドライブへの参加を呼びかけました。集まった食品はすべて「リンゴの巣」という子ども食堂に寄付されます。

　クラークの生徒たちはすぐにイベント委員会を結成し、保護者向けの案内状を書き、すべての教室に食品寄付ボックスをデザインして設置しました。そして、わずか9日間で生徒たちは「リンゴの巣」に寄付するために150個以上の食料品を集めました。

　生徒たちが短期間でこれだけのことをしたことを誇りに思います。また、このような重要な目的のために食料を寄付してくださったクラークのご家族の皆様にも大変感謝しております。

In the middle of November, SPS Gives, the official volunteer group of Amazon Japan, invited Clark Sapporo students to join in their annual Christmas Food Drive. All of the food collected would be donated to “Ringo No Su” a charity providing meals for families in need. The Clark students quickly formed an event committee, wrote an information letter for parents, and designed and placed food donation boxes in all the classrooms.

In only nine days, Clark students collected over 150 food items to donate to “Ringo No Su”. We are proud of the Clark students for doing so much in such a short time. And we are also so grateful to all the Clark families who donated food for such an important cause.
