【インターナショナルコース】アダム先生による東京グローバルゲートウェイ校外学習 体験記

クラーク国際 東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、8月29日に、お台場にある体験型英語学習施設 TOKYO GLOBAL GATEWAY （TGG）Blue Oceanを訪れました。ここでは、各グループに１人のイングリッシュスピーカーのエージェントがつきます。まるで本当に海外にいるような体験型の英会話アクティビティに参加することができます。今日はエアポートゾーンでの体験の様子をアダム先生がご紹介します。

A trip around the world without leaving the city

Our students had a field trip to Tokyo Global Gateway in Odaiba. There, they spoke with people from around the world in an English-only environment. The staff at TGG acted as flight attendants, travel agents, and tour guides.

生徒たちはお台場の東京グローバルゲートウェイへ校外学習に行きました。客室乗務員、旅行代理店、ツアーガイド役を務める世界各国出身のTGGエージェントと英語で会話しました。

So many different ethnicities and friendly people

It was wonderful to see so many different ethnicities and friendly people working with our students. Practicing English in a classroom is one thing, but actually speaking with people from diverse countries is a rare and cherished opportunity.

様々なバックグラウンドを持つ友好的なエージェントの皆さんが、生徒たちと協力する姿を見られて素晴らしかったです。教室で英語を練習することも大切ですが、実際に多様な国々の人々と英語を実践して話すことは稀で貴重な機会です。

Explore and challenge communication abilities using English

This is a great experience and a useful one, because our students can practice the specific language required for each situation. They could explore and challenge their communication abilities using English for booking a hotel, making reservations, ordering in a restaurant, and much, much more.

これは素晴らしい経験であり、非常に有益です。なぜなら、生徒たちはそれぞれの状況に必要な特定の言語を練習できるからです。ホテル予約、予約の取り方、レストランでの注文など、英語を使ったコミュニケーション能力を探求し、挑戦することができました。

Everyone involved had a good experience, made new friends, and learned many things. This will be a day long remembered.

参加した全員が素晴らしい体験をし、新しい友達を作り、多くのことを学びました。この日は長く記憶に残る一日となるでしょう。
