【インターナショナルコース】クエストカップ2026 全国大会 社会課題探究部門「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」ファーストステージ
クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、木曜日の午後に「Upper Presentation」というクラスをおこなっています。このクラスでは、教育と探求社が手掛ける探究学習プログラムの「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」を仲間と協力して目指してきました。今回はいよいよ全国大会当日の様子を、担当したAlison先生がご紹介します！
Questcup 2026 – First Stage!!
While many students were enjoying a day off, the International Course Upper Presentation students from Team Rainbow and Team Wendy were hard at work competing in the first stage of Questcup 2026. The event began with introductions to our judges and guest speakers, who work in NPOs, sustainable fashion, and entrepreneurship.
2月11日（祝）にインターナショナルコースのアッパープレゼンテーションクラスの「チーム・レインボー」と「チーム・ウェンディ」の生徒たちは、クエストカップ2026全国大会のファーストステージに出場するため、懸命に準備に励んでいました。イベントは、NPO、サステナブルファッション、起業の分野で活躍する審査員やゲストスピーカーの紹介から始まりました。
Refugee crises and educational inequality
After weeks of preparation, our students were ready to present their social change ideas. They delivered their presentations in English and confidently answered the judges’ questions, impressing both the panel and the other competitors. Team Rainbow presented on the topic of refugees, sharing ideas about how even high school students in Japan can help make a difference in the world. Team Wendy focused on the lack of awareness about scholarships and how this contributes to educational inequality.
数週間にわたる準備を経て、生徒たちは社会変革に向けたアイデアを発表する準備を整えました。彼らは英語でプレゼンテーションを行い、審査員の質問にも自信を持って答え、審査員団や他の出場者たちを感嘆させました。チーム・レインボーは難民問題をテーマに、日本の高校生でも世界に変化をもたらすことができるというアイデアを共有しました。チーム・ウェンディは、奨学金制度に対する認知度の低さと、それが教育格差にどのように寄与しているかに焦点を当てました。
Good rivalry
They competed against three other teams from Clark Hiroshima. While the judges were deliberating, students enjoyed a pizza party as a reward for their hard work, a chance to relax and feel proud of their efforts. After lunch, the winners were announced: Team Wendy took home the trophy! Afterwards, all teams reflected on their projects and discussed how they could improve for next year.

Students also had the opportunity to speak with the guest speakers and learn more about their work and career paths. But it’s not over yet — next, the members of Team Wendy will visit Rikkyo University for the final exhibition. Congratulations to both Team Rainbow and Team Wendy on their outstanding work!!
生徒たちはゲストスピーカーと直接話をする機会も得て、彼らの仕事やキャリアパスについて詳しく学ぶことができました。しかし、まだ終わりではありません。次は、チーム・ウェンディのメンバーが立教大学を訪れ、最終プレゼンテーションを行います。チーム・レインボーとチーム・ウェンディの両チーム、素晴らしい成果を挙げたことを心よりお祝い申し上げます！！
