【インターナショナルコース】Questcup Social Change English 2026 – Exhibition at Rikkyo University
クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、木曜日の午後に「Upper Presentation」というクラスをおこなっています。このクラスでは、教育と探求社が手掛ける探究学習プログラムの「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」を仲間と協力して目指してきました。今回は立教大学池袋キャンパスでのエキシビション発表の様子を、引率したAlison先生がご紹介します！
Approaching social issues in creative and thoughtful ways
Our winning team, Team Wendy, were invited to exhibit their presentation at Rikkyo University as part of the Social Change competition. The day began with presentations from other candidates, giving our students fresh perspectives and inspiring new ideas for future projects. It was a valuable opportunity to see how students from across the country approached social issues in creative and thoughtful ways.
優勝チームである「チーム・ウェンディ」は、立教大学でのクエストカップ2026 全国大会 社会課題探究部門「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」のセカンドステージにてエキシビション発表を行うよう招待されました。当日はまず他の参加チームによるプレゼンテーションが行われ、生徒たちは新鮮な視点を得るとともに、今後のプロジェクトに向けた新たなアイデアを刺激されました。全国各地の学生たちが、いかに創造的かつ思慮深く社会問題に取り組んでいるかを目の当たりにできる、貴重な機会となりました。
An incredible achievement
Finally, it was Team Wendy’s turn to present—this time in front of their largest audience yet. Delivering a presentation to such a large crowd is challenging even in your first language, so doing so in a second language is an incredible achievement. Despite this, the team remained composed and gave an outstanding performance. They confidently presented their project in English, impressing both the judges and fellow participants.
ついに、チーム・ウェンディの発表の番が回ってきました。今回は、これまでで最も多くの聴衆を前にした発表でした。これほど大勢の聴衆を前にしてプレゼンテーションを行うことは、母国語であっても難しいものですから、第二言語で行うことはまさに素晴らしい成果と言えます。それにもかかわらず、チームは落ち着きを保ち、見事なパフォーマンスを披露しました。彼らは自信を持って英語でプロジェクトを発表し、審査員や他の参加者の双方から感嘆の声を浴びました。
Meaningful opportunity to broaden perspectives and build new connections
発表後、他校の生徒たちから、彼らの英語力、自信、そして優れたコミュニケーション能力を称賛するメッセージが寄せられました。イベントは振り返りのセッションで締めくくられ、チームメンバーは他校の生徒たちと交流する機会を得ました。こうした意見や経験の交換は、視野を広げ、新たなつながりを築くための有意義な機会となりました。

Each member also shared their thoughts with the entire audience, demonstrating how much their confidence has grown throughout the experience. We hope Team Wendy’s achievement will inspire other students to challenge themselves and aim high in the future.
