【インターナショナルコース】Job Fairを開催しました！

インターナショナルコースでは、3年間を通して英語力、他の文化を理解する力、世界の課題に取り組む力を身につけていきます。

今回は、インターナショナルコース2年生が、1年生に向けてキャリアの事をよく知ってもらおうとキャリア説明会を企画しました。今回はAdam先生が当日の生徒の様子をお伝えします。

Career / University Fair created by and for Clark students

All the second-year international students made an information session for the first-year students to explore, learn, and enjoy a career fair.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　2年生は、1年生がキャリアフェアを体験し、学び、楽しむことができるような説明会を作りました。

In groups they made booths representing specific careers, that previous Clark graduates have obtained. Also laying out the steps needed to successfully obtain these positions. 　　　　　　　　　　　　生徒たちはグループに分かれ、クラークの卒業生が就職した特定の職業を紹介するブースを作りました。また、これらの職業に就くために必要なステップも紹介しました。

The focus was put on Universities in Canada, the U.K., Australia, Taiwan, and the Netherlands.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　カナダ、イギリス、オーストラリア、台湾、オランダの大学に焦点を当てました。

The first-year students could meet, interact with, and ask questions with their senior students. Everyone could learn valuable information that will aid them on their journey to become accomplished adults.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　1年生は、先輩に会い、交流し、質問することができました。皆立派な大人になるための助けとなる貴重な情報を学ぶことができました。

Another information session with Peter

The students were able to attend our career fair in groups. While a group was exploring the show the others had another information session with Peter.

He was presenting the application process to enter into university, scholarships, and other related materials. The students were able to have a complete future path package.

生徒たちはグループに分かれてキャリア・フェアに参加しました。1つのグループが見学している間に他のグループはピーター先生と別の説明会を行いました。

彼は、大学への入学手続きや奨学金、その他の関連資料について説明しました。生徒たちは、将来の進路に関する完全なパッケージを手にすることができました。

Important step to realizing their dreams

I was impressed how quickly our students were able to decide, research, and prepare their presentations. This was a fun activity but at the same time an important step to realizing their dreams.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　教師として私は、生徒たちがいかに早く決断し、調べ、プレゼンテーションの準備をすることができたかに感心しました。これは楽しい活動であると同時に、夢を実現するための重要なステップでもあります。

This year our students will have many more opportunities to learn about what options they’ll have as young adults. You can do anything; the first step is to decide what it is you want to do.

今年、生徒たちは、若い大人としてどのような選択肢があるのかを学ぶ機会を、もっとたくさん持つことになるでしょう。何でも挑戦できます。その第一歩は、自分が何をしたいのかを決めることです。
