【学習】　「英検模試」授業　～自らの目標級に合わせた多様な学び～

　クラーク札幌大通校の生徒たちには、週一回「英検摸試」という授業が用意されています。学年の仲間と全員揃って、各英検の級に対して用意されている過去問をオンラインで解答してみて、結果が出たら知らなかった英単語などを調べたりします。その後、自分が解答してみた過去問に関して全国のクラークの教員によって作成された解説動画をオンラインで見て、間違ったところなどを復習することもできます。自分と同じ英検の級を目指している仲間と一緒に助け合いながら復習している生徒も多くいます。

　特に、３年生にとっては、5月末に行われる実用英語技能検定が進路活動で活用できるラストチャンス。しっかりと勉強している様子がよく見られました。みんな、頑張ってください！

At Clark Vocational High School Sapporo Odori Campus, the 3rd year students have an “Eiken mock exam” class once a week. In this class, the whole year group studies together and uses online past exam questions which have been prepared for each Eiken level. After they have answered the questions and checked their answers, the students spend some time to look up new words and phrases that they did not understand. After that, they watch a video, which has been made by one of Clark Memorial High School’s teachers from all across Japan, that explains the answers to the past exam questions they tried earlier. Lots of students also team up with friends who are studying to pass the same Eiken level, and do their revision together. For the 3rd years, the Eiken exams at the end of May could well be their last chance to achieve results in their English studies that they can use in university and college applications, so they were all studying hard. good luck everyone!
