【国際コース】　「自分の環境をよくする」プロジェクト、始動！

　国際コースでは、毎週木曜日の2時間、特別なプロジェクト型英語クラスがあります。前期は英語でひとつのテーマをじっくり学び、後期にはその学びを生かして大きなプロジェクトに取り組みます。

　今年のテーマは「私たちの生活に影響を与えるさまざまな環境」。文化的、社会的、教育的、そして家庭的な環境について学んできました。現在はテストの準備中ですが、普通のテストではありません。生徒たちは英語でプレゼンテーション用のスライドを作り、それを使ってクラスメートと意見を交換します。

　その後はグループに分かれて、「自分たちの環境をより良くする」 というテーマでプロジェクトを企画します。これからどんな行動につながるアイディアが出てくるのか、とても楽しみです！

Every Thursday, the International Course has a special two-hour English class focused on projects. In the first half of the school year, students study one topic in depth—all in English. In the second half, they use what they learned to create a big project.

This year, the topic is the different types of environments that shape our lives: cultural, social, educational, and family. Students are now preparing for a test, but it’s not a normal test with paper and pencils. Instead, they are making presentation slides in English. These slides will be used as tools to share ideas and start discussions with classmates.

From there, students will work in groups to design their own project under the theme “Improving Your Environment.” We are excited to see the creative and action-focused projects they will develop in the coming weeks!
