【学習】「コミュニケーション英語Ⅰ」授業　～Games in the English Classes～

　「コミュニケーション英語Ⅰ」の授業では、文法practiceを○×ゲーム（tic-tac-toe）に変えて楽しみました。ただし、ひとひねり加えて。マスを取るためには、正しい英文を作らなければなりません。つまり、ひと手ごとに小さなスピーキングの挑戦になるのです。さらに挑戦したい生徒のために、難易度の高いモードも用意しました。○や×を書くことは一切禁止というルールです。その代わり、生徒たちはどのマスが取られているかだけでなく、そのマスを取った正確な英文まで、頭の中で覚えておかなければなりませんでした。教室は生徒たちが集中し、忘れてしまった文に笑いながらも、本物のスピーキング練習でいっぱいになりました。

In コミュニケーション英語Ⅰ, students turned grammar practice into a game of tic-tac-toe — but with a twist. To claim a square, players had to make a correct English sentence, turning every move into a mini speaking challenge. For students who wanted an extra push, there was a harder mode: no writing X’s or O’s at all. Instead, they had to keep the whole board in their heads, remembering not just which squares were taken but the exact sentence that won each one. The result was a room full of students concentrating hard, laughing at forgotten sentences, and getting plenty of real speaking practice without it ever feeling like a drill.
