【国際コース】　「production」授業　～行動を通して学ぶ国際コース～

　国際コースでは、世界の問題を「学ぶ」だけでなく、「行動する」ことを大切にしています。

　「production」授業では、生徒たちが自分の関心のある社会問題を選び、アクションプラン（行動計画）を作ります。まず、世界の人々やボランティア団体がどのように問題を解決しようとしているかを調べます。次に、日本の現状を調べ、自分たちにできる具体的な改善方法を考えます。

　あるグループは学校内のプラスチックごみを減らすことに取り組んでいます。このグループは、各教室でどのくらいプラスチックが捨てられているかを記録するアプリを作りました。そのデータをもとに、年度末の修了式で報告を行い、将来的には全国のクラーク校でプラスチック削減の提案をしていく予定です。

　このように、実際の課題に取り組む学びを通して、生徒たちはチームワークや問題解決力を身につけ、社会に貢献する力を育てています。インターナショナルコースは、まさに「体験を通して学ぶ」コースです！

In the International Course, students don’t just study global issues—they learn how to take real action.

In our Production Class, students choose a social issue they care about and make an action plan. They research how people and volunteer groups in different countries are trying to solve similar problems. Then, they look at how these issues affect Japan and think of concrete ways to make improvements in their own community.

For example, one student group is working to reduce plastic waste in our school. They created an app to track how much plastic is thrown away in each classroom. Using this data, they will give a report at the school’s closing ceremony and share ideas for reducing plastic across all Clark campuses in the future.

Through these kinds of real-world projects, students in the International Course learn teamwork, problem-solving, and how to make a positive difference. It’s a course where learning goes beyond the classroom!
