The Courage to Ask~
Asking for help is not a shortcut — it’s a skill, and for many students it doesn’t come easily. Especially now, with tests just around the corner, admitting “I don’t quite get this” takes real courage. When a student works hard to figure something out alone, and then still takes the next step of asking a teacher — to clarify a concept, check an answer, or find a better way to remember something — that student deserves recognition. That is not falling behind. That is learning in action.
Even with AI tools more available than ever, nothing yet comes close to sitting down with a teacher who knows you, notices where you’re stuck, and works through it with you. As exams approach, we want every student to know: reaching out for help isn’t a sign of struggling. It’s one of the clearest signs of moving forward.
