2025年JEMUN日本英語模擬国連大会】Day2 模擬国連大会開幕しました！
Saturday 19th, first day of JEMUN. The conference started at 9:45am, after the students got into their committees (Smart Cities: Innovating Urban Sustainability and Education 4.0 Digital Innovations in Learning). They first gather by regional bloc (geographic location) and introduce themselves to other delegates as an ice breaker. After this, it was time to get serious and start presenting their country in their bloc. Everyone was a bit nervous at first but by lunch time everyone was having a good time. Then, they spent more time working on their working paper to decide which issues they want to resolve by the end of the conference. A little bit after 2pm, they listened to two guest speakers; The life of a Youtuber and volunteering in sustainability Tanzania while attending graduate school. At the end of the day, we all went to the Sheraton Miyako Hotel for a dinner party and a Gala. A long day full of challenges and fun.
さあ、ここからが模擬国連大会の開幕です。
JEMUN（模擬国連会議）の初日は、午前9時45分に開会しました。生徒たちはそれぞれの委員会、「スマートシティ：都市の持続可能性を支えるイノベーション」および「Education 4.0：学びを変えるデジタル革新」に参加しました。
会議の冒頭では、地理的な地域ごとにブロックに分かれ、アイスブレイクとして自己紹介を行いました。その後、いよいよ本格的に自分たちの担当国の立場を紹介し、議論を進めていきます。最初はやや緊張した様子も見られましたが、昼食の頃には笑顔も増え、皆リラックスして活動に取り組んでいました。
午後は、会議の最終日までに解決すべき課題について、各国の代表が協力して「ワーキングペーパー（草案）」を作成する時間が設けられました。
ランチを食べた後には、2名のゲストスピーカーによる講演がありました。1人目は「YouTuberとしての人生」、2人目は「大学院に通いながらタンザニアで行ったサステナビリティ分野のボランティア活動」について語ってくださいました。生徒たちは興味深く耳を傾け、多くの刺激を受けた様子でした。
1日の締めくくりには、シェラトン大阪にてディナーパーティーとガラ（懇親会）が行われ、他校の生徒との交流も深まりました。
挑戦と学び、そして楽しさに満ちた一日となりました。
