【インターナショナルコース】Hope先生による火曜日の「Test skills」授業紹介

クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスインターナショナルコースの Test Skills というクラスをご紹介します。5段階に分かれたこのクラスでは、生徒それぞれの目標の実現に向けて、身近な話題から社会的な課題まで幅広く取り上げます。自分独自の意見や見解を持ち、明確に主張したり、伝わりやすく表現したりできる力も身につけています。今日は最上位クラス（Eiken Pre-1 +/IELTS）を担当するフィリピン出身のHope先生が、Test Skillsの授業をご紹介します。

Supportive learning environment

Every Tuesday, students participate in our Test Skills classes as part of their preparation for their target Eiken levels. The program is designed to help students strengthen their English skills through focused practice in reading, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and test-taking strategies. Each class encourages students to actively participate, communicate confidently, and challenge themselves in a supportive learning environment.

毎週火曜日午後のTest Skillsのクラスでは、読解、聴解、スピーキング、語彙、そして試験対策の戦略に重点を置いた練習を通じて、生徒の英語力の強化を目指しています。各授業では、支援的な学習環境の中で、生徒が積極的に参加し、自信を持ってコミュニケーションを取り、自らにチャレンジするよう促しています。

From Eiken basics to advanced IELTS preparation

To provide more effective instruction, students are divided into smaller groups based on their target levels. This allows students to receive more focused guidance and experience lessons that match their abilities and goals. From foundational Eiken levels to advanced Pre-1+ and IELTS preparation, students enjoy opportunities to improve step by step while developing both their academic and practical communication skills.

より効果的な指導を行うため、生徒は目標レベルに応じて少人数のグループに分かれています。これにより、生徒一人ひとりがよりきめ細やかな指導を受け、自身の能力や目標に合った授業を受けることができます。5, 4, 3級といった英検対策から、大学生レベルの英検準1級以上やIELTS対策まで、生徒たちは学問的なスキルと実践的なコミュニケーション能力の両方を伸ばしながら、一歩ずつ上達していく機会を得ています。

Reach your English goals and future aspirations

Throughout the lessons, students work together through discussions, pair activities, and practice exercises that help build confidence and fluency in English. Their dedication, participation, and positive attitude continue to create a productive and motivating atmosphere every Tuesday. As students steadily improve their skills, they also grow more confident in reaching their English goals and future aspirations.

授業では、生徒たちがディスカッションやペアワーク、練習問題に取り組みながら協力し合い、英語への自信と流暢さを養っています。生徒たちの熱心な取り組み、積極的な参加、そして前向きな姿勢が、毎週火曜日、生産的でやる気を引き出すような雰囲気を生み出し続けています。生徒たちは着実に英語力を伸ばすにつれ、英語の目標や将来の夢に向かって自信を持って歩んでいくようになっています。
