【インターナショナルコース】Making Friends Through English with Adam! コーストライアルへようこそ✨
クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスのコーストライアルは、体験的に東京キャンパス８つのコースの活動を在校生とともに知って味わえる45分間です。6月6日（土）のインターナショナルコースのコーストライアルでは、絵を英語で説明してパートナーに描いてもらう面白い授業を行いました。在校生とともに参加したフィリピン出身のNica先生が、当日の様子をご紹介します。
Break the ice
Several students and their parents signed up to participate in the lesson. At first, participants seemed nervous and shy, but once the class started, the room was quickly filled with voices and laughter. Adam-sensei kicked off the lesson with simple, conversational questions to help everyone get to know each other.
コーストライアルには、インターナショナルコースの在校生と、中学3年生と保護者の皆様にご参加いただきました。最初は皆緊張して恥ずかしそうでしたが、授業が始まると、教室はすぐに話し声と笑い声で溢れかえりました。まずアダム先生は、皆が互いに打ち解けられるよう、簡単な会話形式の質問からレッスンを始めました。
Describe! And draw without seeing the original picture
In pairs, one student described a picture while their partner tried to draw it without seeing the original picture. It was a great way for students to practice their listening, speaking, and comprehension skills! In addition, our current students were a huge help in livening up the classroom atmosphere by chatting with the visiting families.
次に、ペアでひとりが写真の内容を説明し、もうひとりがその写真を見ずにそれを描こうとするアクティビティを行いました。このアクティビティは、生徒たちがリスニング、スピーキング、そして理解力を磨く絶好の機会となりました！さらに、クラークの在校生たちも、来校されたご家族と会話を交わし、教室の雰囲気を大いに盛り上げてくれました。
Making new friends while practicing English
By the end of the day, some of our visitors had even made new friends while practicing their English. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and it truly showcased what our classes at Clark are like. We hope to see everyone again in the future!
