【新入生歓迎会】BBQ@昭和記念公園
昭和記念公園のバーベキューガーデンで新入生歓迎会を実施しました。生徒会が、新入生と先輩とが同じ班で活動することで学年を超えた交流を生み、新入生がより早く高校生活に馴染めるようにと企画してくれました。今日はAdam先生が、快晴のもと新緑が心地よい当日の様子をお伝えします。
A sunny BBQ party to welcome everyone back from Golden Week
Before Golden Week we had a fun, and interesting information session at the campus to learn how to BBQ, go over what everyone needs to prepare, and learn the dos and don’ts of cooking over an open flame outside.
Excited students made BBQ groups with their friends. Everything was prepared ahead of time, so when we arrived everyone could relax, and enjoy cooking in the park.
ゴールデンウィークに入る前に、東京キャンパスでバーベキューのやり方、準備するもの、外で直火で調理する際の注意点など、楽しく面白い説明会がありました。生徒たちは、ワクワクしながら友達とBBQグループをつくりました。事前の準備が周到だったため、到着後はみんなリラックスして公園での調理を楽しむことができました。
Successful and delightful experience
In the morning the sky was blue, the birds were singing, the sun was shining, and the air in the park smelled fresh.
朝、空は青く、鳥はさえずり、太陽は輝き、公園の空気は新鮮な香りに包まれていました。
We all met outside the park and students found their friends to make their groups. Everyone listened carefully to the instructions provided by the park staff, and teachers, to ensure everyone had a successful, and delightful experience.
Precious memories to last a lifetime
Everyone did a great job of cooking delicious meats and vegetables. They shared these delicious treats with all their friends. Everyone came together and made precious memories to last a lifetime.
