クラーク記念国際高等学校 東京キャンパスには、4名のネイティブティーチャーが常駐しています。8つのコースのどこに所属していても、午前中の習熟度別授業や、英検コーチングなども通してネイティブの先生と英語で話せる機会が豊富にあります。今日はオーストラリア出身のピーター先生からの、1年生への応援メッセージをお届けします。
Welcome to Clark Memorial International High School!
We look forward to seeing the new students in class and getting down to work. You can learn about the world and improve your English skills in a warm and friendly environment.
新入生の皆さんと教室でお会いし、一緒に学習を始めるのを楽しみにしています。温かく親しみやすい環境の中で、世界について学び、英語力を伸ばすことができます。
Confidence, effort and determination
English is difficult, and it takes time to arrive at a place where you feel confident. But through effort and determination, anything can be achieved. I truly believe this! To the new students, I encourage you to do your best and come and talk to us anytime you are having difficulty. You are always welcome to come and chat!
英語は難しいものですし、自信を持てるようになるまでには時間がかかります。しかし、努力と決意さえあれば、どんなことでも成し遂げられます。私はそれを心から信じています！新入生の皆さん、ぜひ頑張ってください。困ったことがあれば、いつでも私たちに相談に来てください。いつでも気軽に話しかけてくださいね！

私たちはよく生徒たちに、なぜインターナショナルコースでの学びが好きなのかを尋ねますが、学校のネイティブ教師たちと一緒に学ぶことを楽しんでいると聞いて、とても嬉しく思います。私たちは、すべての生徒が幸せになれるよう、できる限りのことをしています。
英語で探究するProject Lab
This year, we will introduce Project Lab, where students will engage in inquiry-based learning. The goal is for students to reach a point where they feel they have achieved a level of mastery of their topic so they are confident to openly discuss their research. I know this will be a big challenge for them. However, I know that they are all motivated and ready to embark on their research journey.
今年度インターナショナルコースでは、生徒たちが探究型学習に取り組む「プロジェクト・ラボ」を導入します。その目的は、生徒たちが自分のテーマを十分に習得し、自信を持って探究内容について自由に議論できるようになることです。これは生徒たちにとって大きな挑戦になるでしょう。しかし、生徒たちは皆、意欲に満ちており、英語での探究の旅に出る準備ができていると確信しています。
