【インターナショナルコース】東京ローバルゲートウェイ事前学習を実施！

クラーク国際東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、普段の授業で培ってきた英語力を実践的に試す機会として、毎年お台場でのAll Englishの校外学習を実施しています。今回はカナダ出身のAdam先生による、事前学習の様子をお伝えします。

In preparation for our field trip to Tokyo Global Gateway

The day before our field trip to Tokyo Global Gateway, we had an on-campus warm-up session. We went over everything the students need to prepare and bring for their excursion, and, of course, how to get there.

Then we made our own in-house version of TGG.

東京グローバルゲートウェイへの校外学習の前日、校内で事前準備会を行いました。生徒たちが遠足に向けて準備し、持参すべきものすべてを確認し、もちろん、そこへの行き方も説明しました。

その後、校内で独自の「TGG」を再現しました。

Clinic, hotel, airport, bookstore, and more!

Here, students turned classrooms into a variety of stations, including a clinic, hotel, airport, bookstore, and more. To make it fun, useful, and easy, each station had specific scripts for students to reference and then add their own ideas as well.

ここでは、生徒たちが教室を診療所、ホテル、空港、書店など、さまざまな「ステーション」に変身させました。楽しく、実用的で、簡単に取り組めるように、各ステーションには生徒が参考にできる具体的な台本が用意されており、そこに自分なりのアイデアを加えることもできました。

Passport to the world

Each student brought with them a unique passport to receive a stamp after completing each English script. When the students filled up their passports, they had a sense of accomplishment. This English activity is very useful because these are the conversations they will have when traveling abroad.

生徒たちはそれぞれ、英語の課題を1つ完了するごとにスタンプを押してもらうための、オリジナルのパスポートを持参しました。パスポートがスタンプで埋まると、生徒たちは達成感を感じました。この英語活動は、海外旅行の際に実際に交わすであろう会話そのものであるため、非常に有益です。

Imaginations, English skills, and sense of adventure

By practicing these, they are not only better prepared for their field trip but also more confident to venture out into the real world. This is one of the main goals of the international course. By using their imaginations, English skills, and sense of adventure, they had a great time team-building and preparing for their futures.

こうした活動を通して、生徒たちは校外学習への準備が整うだけでなく、外の世界へ踏み出す自信も身につけます。これがインターナショナルコースの主な目標の一つです。想像力や英語力、そして冒険心を活かして、生徒たちはチームワークを深めながら、将来に向けた準備を楽しみました。
