【国際コース】　第10回全道高等学校英語プレゼンテーションコンテスト　～見事、6位に入賞～　

　令和5年5月21日に北海道高等学校文化連盟 第10回全道高等学校英語プレゼンテーションコンテストが札幌大学で開催されました。全道の高等学校から24校36チームが集まって、「当該学校が所在する市町村を、次世代の子どもたちにとってより住みよい環境とするための施策」というテーマについて発表を行いました。
　札幌大通校の5人組、「Team Ambitious」は、「札幌市を子どもたちにより良い都市へ」というテーマにしました。発表するだけではなくて、チームで情報を集めたり、具体的な計画まで準備したりもして、よく頑張りました！
　コンテストでは、全てのチームが工夫を凝らした興味深い発表を提供しており、観衆側としても多くを学ぶことができました。その中で、見事クラークのTeam Ambitiousは決勝ラウンドに進出！36チームの中の6位入賞となりました！

　来年度の全道高等学校英語プレゼンテーションコンテストの参加も目指して、一緒に頑張りましょう。

On May 21,2023, the Hokkaido Senior High School Cultural Association’s tenth annual English Presentation Contest was held at Sapporo University. 36 teams from 24 schools from all over Hokkaido took part and presented on the theme of “A proposal to make your towns and cities an even better place for the next generation.” Clark Memorial International High School Sapporo Odori Campus’ 5-student team, “Team Ambitious,” chose the theme, “How to make Sapporo a more children-friendly city.” They not only worked very hard to prepare their presentation, but also worked together to research information on the topic and create a concrete plan to present at the contest.
Even though every single team gave very well-delivered and interesting presentations, Clark’s Team Ambitious made it all the way to the final round and placed 6th out of 36 teams!
We are aiming to compete again at next year’s English presentation contest and are looking forward to working together to do our best again, next time.
