【インターナショナルコース】卒業式前日にサプライズをしてくれました！

Hello!
This is Joel from the International Course at Yokohama Campus and this is the post that is perhaps most difficult to write. On rehearsal day for the graduation ceremony, Tuesday March 12th, the graduating third-year International Course students surprised the three native teachers and Kamei-sensei with message albums.  In addition, the irrepressible YouTube star, AKI, surprised the gathered teachers with thank-you videos made with all the students. Many tears were shed both in joy and sadness. This year in particular has been most difficult to say farewell because of the amazing and beautiful group of third-year students. But we all are sure here at Yokohama Campus that the graduating International Course students will flourish in their future journeys!

卒業式の前日、インターナショナルコースの3年生からとても嬉しいサプライズ。３人のネイティブの先生と亀井先生に３年間の感謝の気持ちを込めて作ったアルバムとムービーをプレゼントしてくれました。卒業が見えてきた嬉しさとともに、別れが近づく寂しさがグッと押し寄せてきて思わず涙を流す生徒たちの姿も見られました。

インターナショナルコースは個性豊かなネイティブの先生を中心にクラスや学年を超えて和気あいあいと英語を学べる環境です。生徒たちのプレゼントからは、高校生活がいかにいかに充実していて、ネィティブの先生たちの温かいサポートがどれほど支えになっていたか伺い知ることができます。英語が分からず困った時は分かるまで付き添ってくれたり、放課後の英検対策の時間や受験の前でナーバスになっていた時に寄り添ってくれたり。

入学前の不安げな表情から一変して、英語力を伸ばす中で自信がつき笑顔が増えてきた様子からも生徒たちが充実した濃い３年間を過ごしてくれたのだと感じました。

卒業後、それぞれの道に進んでもインターナショナルコースでの学びの経験が糧となってみんなの背中を押してくれでしょう。
