【学校紹介】フィリピンの高校生と初のオンライン交流！Project Binuligayが始動！

10月9日（金）、名古屋キャンパスの国際探究の授業で、インターナショナルコースの生徒で構成されたコミュニケーションチームが、フィリピンのEstefania Montemayor National High Schoolの生徒たちと初めてのオンライン交流会を実施しました。数か月にわたる準備を経て、国際協働プロジェクト「Project Binuligay」の大きな一歩となりました。

On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Communications Team, made up of International Course students at our Nagoya Campus, held their first online exchange with students from Estefania Montemayor National High School in the Philippines. After months of preparation, the meeting marked an exciting milestone for their international collaborative initiative, Project Binuligay.

交流会では、自己紹介やアイスブレイクゲームを通して、お互いのことを知る時間を設けました。最初は少し緊張していた生徒たちも、すぐに打ち解け、笑顔や笑い声があふれる交流となりました。また、コミュニケーションチームからプロジェクトの目的についても説明しました。

The students introduced themselves and took part in icebreaker games to get to know one another. Any initial nervousness quickly gave way to laughter and lively conversations as the students warmed up to each other. The Communications Team also introduced the goals of Project Binuligay.

「Binuligay」はフィリピンの言葉で「助け合い」を意味します。このプロジェクトでは、フィリピン教育省（DepEd）のARALプログラム（学習回復支援プログラム）の対象となっている同校の7・8年生への学習支援を目指しています。ARALプログラムは、学習に遅れがある生徒の基礎学力向上を支援する取り組みです。

Binuligay means “helping one another” in Hiligaynon, a language spoken in the Philippines. The project aims to support Grade 7 and Grade 8 students at the partner school who are part of the Philippine Department of Education's ARAL Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning), an initiative designed to help learners strengthen foundational academic skills.

今後は、両校の生徒が協力しながら、学習ニーズの把握、英語の学習教材や動画の制作、募金活動、教材の寄贈など、具体的な支援活動を進めていく予定です。現地の生徒たちとの対話を大切にしながら、必要とされる支援を一緒に考え、形にしていきます。

Moving forward, students from both schools will work together to identify learning needs, create educational materials and videos, organize fundraising activities, and provide learning resources. By working closely with their Filipino partners, they hope to develop practical initiatives that respond to the needs of the students they aim to support.

今回の交流会は、国境を越えた協働への第一歩となりました。今後のProject Binuligayの活動にも、ぜひご注目ください！

This first exchange was just the beginning of what we hope will become a meaningful partnership. We look forward to sharing more as Project Binuligay continues!
