【インターナショナルコース】アダム先生によるUpper Presentationの授業

クラーク記念国際高等学校東京キャンパスのインターナショナルコースでは、木曜日の午後に「Upper Presentation」というクラスをおこなっています。このクラスでは、教育と探求社が手掛ける探究学習プログラムの「ソーシャルチェンジ・イングリッシュ」を仲間と協力して目指します。今回は授業の様子を、今年度担当しているAdam先生がご紹介します！

A team-building activity that is outside the box

In our presentation class, students are divided into teams. Students will have to work together and be able to share ideas, strengths, and vulnerabilities. For this to happen smoothly, a sense of trust and cooperation must be achieved. Before we started sharing our profiles and ambitions, we conducted a team-building activity.

プレゼンテーションの授業では、生徒たちはチームに分かれます。協力し合い、アイデアや長所、弱点を共有できるようにならなければなりません。これを円滑に進めるためには、信頼感と協力体制を築くことが不可欠です。各自のプロフィールや目標を共有する前に、チームビルディング活動を行いました。

Communication and cooperation essential

In teams of four, each student had control of one string that all connected to one elastic band. They had to work together to make a castle out of the paper cups. Communication and cooperation are essential to be able to construct anything. This activity was not only fun, but it connected these students and made working teams.

4人1組のチームで、各生徒は1本のひもを操作し、それらはすべて1本のゴムバンドにつながっていました。生徒たちは協力して、紙コップで城を作らなければなりませんでした。何かを組み立てるには、コミュニケーションと協力が欠かせません。この活動は楽しいだけでなく、生徒たちの絆を深め、チームワークを育むものとなりました。
