Clark Key Club & International Course × Business and Technology Academy Charter School Online Conference
We are thrilled to share a wonderful global learning moment that brought students from Clark Saitama Campus and BTACS in Guam (U.S.A.) together in an exciting online exchange!
As part of our ongoing efforts to build international communication skills, students from Clark’s Key Club and International Course participated in an English-only Zoom conference with their peers at BTACS, a vibrant U.S. public charter school located in Guam.
During the session, students from both schools delivered engaging presentations introducing their school communities. Our students proudly shared not only an overview of Clark Saitama Campus — including uniforms, school events, and daily life — but also highlighted cultural features of Saitama Prefecture, such as local festivals, special events, and regional foods. It was inspiring to see how confidently they communicated in English, celebrating both school pride and cultural identity.
Following the presentations, students moved into Zoom breakout rooms for more personal conversations. This was a fantastic opportunity for direct dialogue, active practice, and making new friends across the Pacific. The enthusiasm and energy in these small group discussions showed just how meaningful this exchange was for everyone involved.
We’re also excited to announce that BTACS students are expected to visit Clark Saitama Campus in April! This upcoming visit will give our students the chance to host their Guam friends in person, share more of Omiya and Saitama’s culture, and create even deeper connections.
This conference was an amazing experience — a true victory for English communication, global understanding, and student leadership. We are proud of our students and look forward to the continued growth of this international partnership.
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for our guests in April!
