Extensive Reading B
In this class, students were given a reading passage about nature. Their task was to read many sentences within a minute and try to remember as much as possible. After reading, they try to write what they read, and this process is repeated a few times.
The goal is to increase their reading speed and to improve their writing skills. It was a bit difficult for some of the students, however, they are looking forward to the next opportunity to practice these skills.
この授業では、生徒たちは自然に関する文章を読みました。課題は、1分以内に多くの文を読み、できるだけ多くの内容を記憶することでした。読んだ後は、読んだ内容を書き写し、このプロセスを数回繰り返しました。
目標は、読書速度と作文能力を向上させることです。生徒の中には少し難しいと感じた人もいましたが、次の練習機会を楽しみにしているようでした。
Cultural Studies B
In all countries, there are different cultures and ways of doing things. In this class, the students chose a country to present some “fun fact” about. It was interesting for them to see how different other countries are from Japan.
どの国にも、それぞれ異なる文化や習慣があります。この授業では、生徒たちはそれぞれ好きな国を選び、その国に関する「面白い事実」を発表しました。他の国々が日本とどれほど違うのかを知ることは、生徒たちにとって興味深い経験となりました。
